摘 要

杨树是我国重要的人工林栽培树种,近年来大量的加拿大一枝黄花(Solidago canadensis L.)入侵进入到杨树人工林生态系统中,对入侵地碳(C)循环过程产生一定的影响。为了探明加拿大一枝黄花入侵对杨树人工林C排放的影响,我们以江苏省东台林场内一枝黄花入侵和未入侵的10年林龄杨树人工林群落为研究对象,采用长期野外实验监测的研究方法对土壤呼吸进行监测,并测定了样地土壤理化性质,对比一枝黄花入侵与未入侵杨树人工林群落土壤呼吸的变化规律,同时探讨各个非生物因子变化对土壤呼吸的影响。我们的结果表明:一枝黄花的入侵显著增加了杨树人工林的土壤呼吸,且主导这种变化的非生物因子是入侵导致的土壤湿度的变化。一枝黄花入侵会通过改变土壤理化性质来影响土壤呼吸,显著增加杨树人工林的土壤湿度,同时显著增加土壤氮(N)含量,降低土壤碳氮比(C/N),但对于土壤C库的增加并不明显,对土壤温度和pH的影响也不显著。综合来看,一枝黄花的入侵增加了杨树人工林土壤系统二氧化碳(CO2)的排放量,增加了土壤系统的C损失,改变了杨树人工林土壤的C交换过程。在全球生物入侵日趋严重的背景下,我们的结果有助于进一步认识陆地生态系统的地下碳循环对植物入侵的响应及其机制。

Effects of Solidago canadensis invasion on soil respiration in Poplar plantations (Populus deltoids)

ABSTRACT

Poplar plantation is an important forest ecosystem in China. In recent years, a large number of Solidago canadensis have invaded into the poplar plantations and greatly affected the carbon (C) cycling of the invaded land. In this study, we explored the effects of S. canadensis invasion on poplar ecosystem C emissions, in Dongtai forest farm of Jiangsu province on the east coast of China. Our results showed that the invasion of S. canadensis significantly increased soil respiration in poplar plantations, and the non-biological factors leading to this change were soil moisture changes caused by invasion. S. canadensis invasion changed soil physical and chemical properties. The invasion significantly increased soil moisture and soil nitrogen content and decreased C/N ratio. Impacts of invasion on soil C content, soil temperature and pH were not significant. In general, the invasion increases the carbon dioxide emissions of soil system of poplar plantations. It increases the loss of C in soil system. At the same time, invasion of S. canadensis changes the C exchange process of poplar plantations. Our results may contribute to our further understanding of belowground C cycling in response to plant invasions and the associated mechanisms.
